Learning Through Play

Here are some of our wonderful Kakano Children exploring and creating with the 'Moon dust' that Miss Bailey made.  We had a lot of fun this morning in Learning Through Play.  The conversations were rich and the children were very engaged.  We are very excited about our  PBL this term "what is our place in Space?" Stay tuned.........

  1. Kia ora Kākano,

The moon dust is cool and exciting because it has stars and the moon it it. We had visitors from the other hubs to look at it.

The moon dust is soft and it is mesmerising, it reminds us of sand and dust that comes off the moon.

The moon dust helps us make creative things however you have to be careful it does not get in your mouth or eyes.

Why not try and make your own?

    Nga mihi,
    Kākano Learners
